Hi, it's Shane from Inforum Education on the Gold Coast. Today I'm going to talk to you about the 'Present Continuous for the future'. This one is a little bit difficult to understand because we can use the present continuous for now. For an example, 'I'm talking to you.' That's now but today it's for the future. For example, 'I am meeting her tomorrow.' Okay? This shows that it is an intention or an arrangement. Another example is 'She is giving a presentation next week.' 'We are having a party at 7pm tonight.' So these things have been organized. They're difficult to cancel. Notice we usually use time or a particular date, and it's usually with other people.
